In simple terms RSS is just an easy way for you to subscribe to a Web page, category, etc. If you see the RSS icon (above) in your "url" (address bar), at the top of your browser, clicking on it will allow you to 'subscribe' to that page. This means that you can dynamically view the contents of the page in your RSS Reader, complete with changes, additions etc.

Site Definition & Evolution
My ultimate goal other than providing a forum and meeting place for my extended family members is to make this site the main "Cruickshanks" (and all variations thereof) repository and forum for Cruickshanks' worldwide. Through my research to date, I have found relatives spread across the world, and although we are probably all related in some manner, it is hard to find a definitive resource to research all the information. There are many forums in different genealogical sites that contain "Cruickshanks" forums, but all the ones I have found so far are 'generic' and not dedicated to one name. This is what I hope 'goCruickshanks.com' eventually becomes, and hope that you will help me in my quest!
